Revent Precision Engineering Limited (RPEL) is a modern and growing company in India’s manufacturing industry. It was formed after a U.S.-based investment firm, Deccan Value Investors (DVI), took over two older companies — Amtek Auto Limited and Castex Technologies Limited. Revent was originally started in 1988 and is based in Gurugram, Haryana. After the takeover by DVI, the company got a fresh boost of money, leadership, and vision. It now uses new technologies and modern systems to make high-quality parts for cars, trucks, bikes, and more.
What Revent Does
Revent has a wide range of manufacturing abilities. Some of the main things they do include:
- Forging: This is shaping metal parts by pressing them. Revent makes items like connecting rods and crankshafts, especially for two-wheelers and other vehicles.
- Aluminum Die Casting: Revent uses special machines to make aluminum parts in different shapes and sizes, from very small to medium-sized components.
- Ferrous Casting: Through another company it owns — Revent Metalcast — Revent also makes iron parts that can weigh up to 200 kg.
- Machining & Assembly: Revent has special centers in places like Dharuhera and Sanaswadi where machines cut, polish, and assemble metal parts with high precision.
Products and Industries Served
Revent makes parts for many sectors, including:
- Automotive: Cars, trucks, bikes, and tractors.
- Construction Equipment: Machines used in building roads and infrastructure.
- Railways: Parts used in train systems.
The company is also looking to enter the electric vehicle space in the future.
Financial Performance
As of March 2023, Revent made over ₹500 crore in revenue. The company has a strong financial base with a paid-up capital of ₹510.90 crore and a larger authorized capital of ₹12,035 crore.
