Latest Update of 12 Exam 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 12 Hindi Core (302) and Hindi Elective (002) examinations on March 15, 2025, as scheduled. However, acknowledging that Holi celebrations in certain regions might have made it challenging for some students to attend, CBSE has provided an alternative for those affected. Students who were unable to appear for the Hindi exam on March 15 due to Holi festivities will be granted another opportunity to take the exam. This provision aligns with CBSE’s existing policy of conducting special examinations for students participating in national or international sports events.

CBSE had announced the date sheet for board examinations three months in advance to allow students ample time to prepare and plan. Despite this, the board recognizes that regional variations in Holi celebrations could have impacted students’ ability to attend the exam on the scheduled date. Therefore, to ensure fairness and accommodate those affected, CBSE has decided to offer a special examination for these students.

Students who missed the Hindi exam on March 15 due to Holi celebrations are advised to stay in touch with their respective schools and monitor official CBSE communications for updates regarding the schedule and guidelines for the special examination. This measure ensures that all students have a fair chance to complete their examinations without being disadvantaged by regional festival observances.
