Who Is Phoenix Ikner?
Phoenix Ikner, born Christian Gunnar Eriksen, is the stepson of Jessica Ikner, a veteran deputy with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office. Raised in Tallahassee, Phoenix was involved in law enforcement training programs, including the Sheriff’s Youth Advisory Council. He had access to firearms through his stepmother, one of which was used in the attack.
The Shooting Incident
